Frequently Asked Questions
Is this an insurance plan?
No, it is not insurance. We partner with HealthcareOne™ to provide
referrals for its medical discount services plan. It’s a solution that
helps make your healthcare affordable. There are more than
525,000 physicians and other healthcare providers in
HealthCareOne’s networks. Since HealthcareOne does not offer
health insurance, its cardholders are responsible for all health care
fees they incur.
How much will I save?
You can save between 20%-60% on any visit to a provider in any of
HealthcareOne’s networks. You receive discounts only by visiting
one of those providers. The factors affecting your savings include,
but are not limited to: the procedure you are treated for, the state
you reside in, and the provider you utilize.
How do I receive discounts?
Select a provider in one of the HealthcareOne affiliated provider
networks, and when you arrive for your appointment, present your
HealthcareOne membership card. You will receive your discount
when you pay for your services. You don’t have to file any forms.
Do I pay at the same time that I receive service?
Yes, your payment is due at the time you receive service, unless
you make other arrangements with your provider.
Is there a co-pay due when I receive services?
No, since HealthcareOne is not insurance, it does share payment
for services. You pay for the services at the discounted rate, at the
time of service.
Is there a deductible?
No. You get the discounted rate and pay your provider directly.
Can I join if I have an existing health condition?
Yes, everyone is accepted into HealthcareOne’s plan .
Is there a waiting period before I can use my discount card?
No, once you receive your membership kit you can start saving.
Can anyone in my household use my medical discount card?

long as they are considered a dependent or spouse under IRS
guidelines.
Where can I see a list of providers in the network?
Your membership kit includes a list of local providers. You can find
additional providers by dialing the toll-free number in the membership
kit or by visiting the HealthCareOne website.
